FU series scraper chain is the key component for FU type en-masse scraper conveyors. It is constructed with solid steel link plates and welded U-shaped scraper hooks. When running, the scrapers push powdery and granular materials inside the sealed conveyor housing. Widely applied for horizontal and slight inclined material transportation. Standard models include FU150, FU200, FU270, FU350, FU410, FU500, FU600, FU800. Alloy steel is adopted as standard material with heat treatment to enhance wear resistance. Stainless steel versions are available for corrosive environments.

Limitations
It operates based on sliding friction, so low & medium speed is required. Abrasive materials will accelerate component wear. Sticky materials need regular cleaning maintenance.

Maintenance & Lubrication for FU Scraper Conveyor Chain
- Daily Inspection Check link plates, U-scrapers and pins for crack, deformation or welding falling off. Remove hard foreign materials to avoid chain jamming. Listen for abnormal noise during operation.
- Lubrication Use extreme pressure lithium grease. Lubricate hinge joints every 8–12 working hours. Avoid excessive thin oil, which mixes with dust and accelerates abrasion. Apply lubricant on the return side of the chain.
- Tension Adjustment Retension new chains after 72-hour running-in. Synchronously adjust tension bolts on both sides. Proper sag of the return chain: 30–50 mm for horizontal conveyors.
- Wear Inspection Replace the whole chain when elongation reaches 2.5%~3%. Do not mix new and old chains. Repair or replace damaged scrapers in time.
- Regular Cleaning Clean accumulated powder inside the housing weekly to reduce operating load. For long-term shutdown, coat chain with anti-rust grease.
