This U-shaped rubber cover conveyor chain is modified based on standard 08A roller chain with 12.7 mm pitch. U-type rubber pads are mounted on outer link plates to offer soft contact surface. The chain body is available in carbon steel or SUS304 stainless steel. Rubber material adopts NBR or food-grade silicone for anti-slip, shock absorption and noise reduction. It is widely used in packaging conveyors, sorting lines, food light transport and automated assembly lines to avoid scratching and damaging transported goods.
Structure Analysis
Base Roller Chain Standard 08A sleeve roller chain (Pitch 12.7mm). Compatible with standard 08A sprockets. Carbon steel or stainless steel options are available.
U-shaped Rubber Cover Pads (Core Component) Clip-on U-shaped rubber blocks fixed on outer plates. Elastic rubber works as the bearing surface instead of bare metal.
Two Common Versions Elastic rubber covered version for cushioning; metal U-shell version for dust protection, which can be fitted with extra rubber mat.
Modular Design Each rubber pad can be replaced individually. No need to replace the whole chain if partial pads wear out.

Limitations
Conventional NBR rubber will age rapidly above 80°C; high-temperature type rubber is required for heat environments. Sharp products may cut rubber surface. Avoid heavy exposure to strong chemical solvents to prevent rubber swelling.
