Our stainless steel conveyor chains are manufactured with two mainstream materials: 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel. Both materials possess outstanding rust resistance and acid corrosion resistance, which is the biggest advantage different from ordinary carbon steel chains. They can resist oxidation, damp erosion and chemical corrosion in harsh working environments, and will not get rusted or stuck easily after long-term continuous operation.
These chains have diverse application scenarios, mainly including food processing machinery, beverage production equipment, chemical industrial transmission devices, marine auxiliary facilities and pharmaceutical production lines. All materials meet industrial safety standards, especially suitable for industries with strict hygiene requirements.
There are clear usage distinctions between the two steel grades. 304 stainless steel is cost-effective, applicable to general humid and slightly corrosive working environments, and meets daily industrial operation demands. By contrast, 316 stainless steel contains extra molybdenum elements, featuring stronger chemical stability. It is specially recommended for extreme working conditions such as strong acid corrosion, saltwater erosion and high-humidity marine environments. It greatly cuts replacement frequency and reduces long-term maintenance costs.
